Fresh water fish collection transferred from the FreshwaterFish Protection Association
Distributed only in Hikami-cho, Hyogo Prefecture and the south-western part of Kyoto City before 1950's. 10 specimens are housed; 5 of them are from Kyoto City, the others' locality unknown.
Freshwater fish specimens collected from Japan, Korean Peninsula, Taiwan etc. and kept formerly by the FreshwaterFish Protection Association. Although some of them without data，most specimens are valuable in natural Science. A extinct species Pungitius kaibarae (Tanaka, 1915), Gasterosteidae is included.
